The Procurement Operations function plays a pivotal role driving a seamless end user experience and is an advocate of promoting source to pay policies, procedure and governance. The team operates a hybrid model with transactional activities delivered through an offshore partner.
The objective of the Procurement Operations Consultant role is to support the end-to-end process required to facilitate efficient and effective source to payment of third-party suppliers across the Group. The Procurement Operations Consultant role activities focus around:
- Contract and supplier administration
- P2P support
- Source to Pay query resolution and management
- Fuel & IATA reconciliations
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll support the broader team with managing complex queries and escalations across the below processes.
- Contract execution and management in Oracle
- Supplier creation and Vendor Master File management
- Supporting the business with purchase requestions & purchase orders including purchasing lifecycle management
- Invoice Reconciliation
- Query Management
In addition to this, you’ll be focussed on the development and continuous improvement of Procurement Operations process documentation and work instructions.
You’ll be great in this role if you have…
- Tertiary qualifications preferrable in commerce or finance related field
- At least two years’ experience in a procurement, purchasing or finance related field
- Intermediate understanding of financial accounting practices and Oracle financial systems
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel and Word
- A passion for excellent customer service and creating a continuous environment
- Advanced problem solver with a proven ability to think analytically and logically, with a high level of attention to detail
- Critical thinker, able to design and develop process documentation and work instructions
- General procurement or source to payment knowledge
