The Senior Financial Analyst, Power Development role is a three-month secondment based in Perth or Sydney.

The role reports to the Manager Finance, Power Development, within our Merchant Energy business pillar. It will play a key role in supporting the G&D business in delivering the pipeline of Development and New Markets projects.

You’ll deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis and commentary to management, ensuring timely insights into project financial performance. You will also be involved in assisting the business from a commercial perspective including business case review and transaction support (Joint Ventures, Grant Funding and Board reporting).

Ideally, the successful candidate would have the following:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the full range of either financial and/or management accounting or analytical activities – including general accounting, financial analysis and reports.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications including business or commerce degree.
• Membership of professional accounting including CPA, or CA.
