Based in Milton and reporting to the Logistics Manager SEQ Quarries, Boral are looking for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor - Logistics (Tippers) to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading the Team of Allocators and Customer Service Agents and ensuring customer orders are resourced and DIFOT and their expectations are met with efficiency.
 
Your day will involve:
  • Ensure customers service expectations are consistently met
  • Continuously review and improve customer service delivery
  • Maximise the value to the organisation through identifying and delivering flexible effective allocation models and service opportunities
  • If required, realign customer expectations in line with business capabilities to ensure continued positive relationships without compromising safety or operational effectiveness
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer communications are aligned with effective allocations to meet customer expectations
  • Identify opportunities for alternate allocation strategies to meets customer expectations improving profitability and customer service
  • Capture and communicate market intelligence to the business
What are we looking for?
  • A good communicator with the ability to lead and influence a team
  • Someone that can think on their feet handling multiple tasks 
  • Previous allocations experience essential
  • Transport industry experience (preferred)
  • Strong people leadership skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise competing deadlines
  • High standard of internal customer focus
  • Experience in managing an allocations team that meets or exceeds KPI’s (service delivery, quality) preferred
