Are you a passionate and commercially minded Treasury Professional? Boral is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst based at their North Ryde head office

This position will see you contribute to the preparation and maintenance of various treasury functions. Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you will be involved in all aspects of Treasury Operations

Your day will involve:

Treasury & Working Capital Management

· Support in the preparation of cash flow forecasts, analysis of variances, and optimising cash flow management

· Identify surplus cash balances, make recommendations for term deposits, and carry out the execution

· Execution of foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate derivatives

· Anticipate short term funding needs and prepare debt roll over, drawdown or repayment notices

· Assist in the management of all transactional banking requests, including bank account management, corporate cards, bank guarantees and letters of credit

· Reconciliation and analysis of banks fees and charges

· Maintain banking systems and signatories

· Maintain familiarity with all aspects of Treasury Policy and other debt financing documents.

· Prepare financial reports, presentations, and monthly management report

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to treasury operations.

Treasury Reporting & Accounting

· Record and reconcile treasury activities to ensure segregation of duties

· Hedge accounting

- Drive the strategic implementation initiatives and continuous improvement of the Treasury Risk and Hedge Accounting policies

- Prepare and maintain hedge documents

- Accurate and timely accounting in accordance with AASB 9

- Preparation of half year and full year account and disclosures

· Preparation of covenant compliance certificates

What we are looking for:

We seek a motivated and detail-orientated individual with at least 5 years demonstrated experience in treasury, accounting, or a related role, preferably in a construction, industrial or mining company.

You are a commercially astute finance professional with the ability to collaborate with people on various levels of a business. You will have a strong numerical literacy and an understanding of global debt facilities liquidity and currency markets. Experience with Reval TMS is desirable.
