Your next opportunity:

Boral is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the sales strategy and execution for our Concrete business across the Sydney Metro area. Based in North Ryde, this role is crucial to driving growth, improving margins, and expanding our market share in a competitive construction materials market.

You will lead a passionate team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. With your strategic vision, customer focus, and commercial expertise, you’ll help us deliver outstanding results and strengthen our position in the concrete industry.

Your day will involve:

  • Driving revenue growth through innovative pricing, strategic planning, and expanding business opportunities within existing and new customer segments across Sydney Metro.
  • Leading new business development, securing major projects, and managing an effective sales pipeline focused on concrete products.
  • Inspiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring accountability.
  • Championing customer service excellence and acting as a key customer advocate in internal planning and operational decisions.
  • Playing a critical role in margin enhancement and commercial negotiations, including managing key accounts and strategic tenders related to concrete supply.

  • Proven sales leadership experience in the concrete or construction materials industry, ideally within metropolitan markets.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of growing revenue and market share in competitive environments.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer who thrives in a collaborative, customer-centric culture.
  • Resilient, disciplined, and committed to continuous learning and driving high performance.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office, with a data-driven approach to sales management.
