Boral Asphalt is seeking a well organised, responsible individual to join our team as a Quality Management Representative/Site Engineer based in Rockhampton, QLD 4701. This role would also be suitable for a new graduate / current undergraduate / quality background or someone with attention to detail with an understanding of civil construction. 
 
This role will see you responsible for ensuring Quality processes are established, implemented and maintained. This entails ensuring Quality and compliance is maintained and communicated within the Boral project team and with the client. 
 
Your day will involve: 
  • Preparing Daily Quality Compliance Reports for Seal/Asphalt work and submitted in a timely manner to Client
  • Liaising with Project Managers on Project Requirement
  • Preparing Project Plans Quality, Safety & Environment Plans, SWMS, ITP & Reports
  • Monitoring of supplier & subcontractor performance, and
  • Provide engineering/administration support to management as required
  • Planning and scheduling of day-to-day activities to meet project milestones  
What we are looking for: 
  • Knowledge of Quality systems and asphalt specifications preferred but not essential 
  • Experience in civil engineering preferred but not essential
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines 
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology  
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and Project 
  • Personal drive and results-orientation
