  • Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
  • $73,058 - $84,998pa + 12% super
  • Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 2 to 3 of EBA5
    The appointed wage level will be dependent upon the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications. 
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Project Administration Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

Our Project Development and Delivery department are responsible for over $200m worth of capital projects each year, delivering road upgrades, parks, public amenities, sporting facilities and coastal assets to our residents and visitors. As a Project Administration Officer you'll support the team by preparing contract and tender documents, reports, correspondence, agendas and minutes of meetings, as well as project notices, signs and bulk mailouts. You'll also:

  • Manage the administration of purchase orders, financial claims and progress reports
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and improvement of systems and documentation
  • Respond to queries and proactively engage with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables and outcomes are achieved.
    Contribute to a positive team environment to achieve a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused culture.

About you

We're looking for a new team member with considerable experience in a project administartion role in large operational construction or engineering environmen. You'll also bring:
High level attention to detail with the ability to prepare quality business correspondence

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed people and relationship management skills
  • Certificate III in Business Administration or considerable equivalent experience
  • Current C class driver’s licence required.
