The details:
- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight | 2 positions available
- $67,642 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 3)
Great news - EBA6 currently is underway, with a proposed remuneration increase of 5% effective 1 July 2025

- Location: Burpengary - please note, this position will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.

Play a key role in maintaining and improving our city's civil infrastructure. As part of our Roads and Drains civil works crew, you'll contribute to the delivery of minor works and major maintenance projects that keep our community safe and functional. Reporting directly to a supervisor, you'll be hands on with a variety of tasks that directly impact the quality and reliability of our transport and drainage systems.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- performing general labouring duties across civil construction and maintenance projects
- operating hand tools, mechanical equipment and plant machinery
- driving and operating trucks as required
- supporting the team in delivering high quality outcomes for the community

About you
You’re a practical, safety conscious team player with recent experience in civil construction or civil infrastructure maintenance. You take pride in your work and understand the importance of keeping public spaces safe and functional.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- proven experience in labouring roles within civil construction or civil maintenance
- strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- the ability to safely perform manual tasks and operate relevant equipment
- a genuine commitment to workplace safety and contributing to a strong safety culture
To be successful in this role, you’ll also need:
- A current truck licence (minimum MR - Medium Rigid)
- A valid Construction Induction Card
