The Details:

  • Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
  • $86,815 pa + 12% super (level 4)
    Great news - EBA6 is currently in the final stages, with a proposed increase of 5% on the above rate
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Location: Narangba

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Facilities Officer - Waste, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Facilities Officer - Waste you'll be a key point of contact in the day-to-day operations of large scale, complex waste management facilities, work on projects to improve waste disposal and resource recovery processes and methods. You'll also:

  • Develop and review operational procedures, manuals, and work instructions
  • Ensure sites comply with all legislation, approved standards, policies and procedures
  • Undertake environmental, health and safety, and contractor compliance audits and awareness training programs
  • Prepare reports and complete associated administrative matters.

About you

We're looking for your experience in operations of waste management facilities and transfer
stations, project management skills, and experience applying risk minimisation principles that ensure
quality service delivery outcomes are achieved.

You can bring your strong experience in building high quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and online research and analysis skills, as well as incident investigation experience.

A current C class driver’s licence and Construction Induction Card competency (or willingness to obtain) are required.

The team work on a rolling roster that includes some weekend day shifts, and some weekday days off.
