  • $50.87 per hour (including casual loading) + 12% Super (Level 2.1)
  • Location: Redcliffe

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Venue Support Officer and help create vibrant community experiences now and into the future.

We’re currently seeking a casual Venue Support Officer to join the team at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre within our Community Services, Sport and Recreation Department.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Venue Manager with day‑to‑day administrative and operational tasks in an event‑focused environment.
  • Manage box office and front‑of‑house administration, including ticketing, refunds, seating, rostering and general admin.
  • Create promotional content such as social media posts, digital graphics and print flyers using Adobe software.
  • Assist with event planning, promotion and delivery alongside venue and technical teams.
  • Maintain and improve venue processes to support smooth operations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build effective working relationships.
  • Manage competing priorities with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, customer‑focused and high‑performing team.

About you

You’re a reliable, organised administrator with event‑venue experience and a creative flair for marketing and promotion. You adapt easily to changing priorities, enjoy content creation, and take pride in delivering engaging customer experiences. You’ll bring:

  • Administrative experience in an event focused venue
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence

This is a casual, flexible role with hours based on venue needs, ranging from 4 hours to 15 hours per week, with additional opportunities to assist with events.
