- Base salary range: Level C, $139,000 – $159,893 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides high quality and innovative teaching to medical students throughout the course across multiple clinical sites in the Perth metropolitan area.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate the MD Obstetrics and Gynaecology teaching at all WA urban teaching hospitals. Third year MD students are placed at the sites to gain experience in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Developing and managing relationships with Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinicians at the sites will be critical for a successful outcome in this role.
- Engagement and collaboration with academic colleagues and the wider medical profession
About you
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline
- Recent experience in clinical practice as a health professional within the discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, preferably in the last five years
- Demonstratable evidence as a tutor and/or supervisor of health professional students and/or junior doctors.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing learning and training in clinical education including procedural skills and simulation
