- Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Medical Education Unit is an educational support unit on all matters related to curriculum development including (learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation) within the Medical School.
About the opportunity
- Contribute to the development and delivery of teaching and learning for MD students.
- Responsible for ensuring that appropriate teaching development of early career medical educators are undertaken to support the MD program.
- Contribute to teaching and assessment of clinically-oriented topics in the preclinical and clinical phase of the course, with an emphasis on general practice and clinical skills development.
About you
- Broad knowledge of current practice in generalist fields of medicine correlating with the MD Core Curriculum presentations and conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver clinically-oriented teaching materials for medical students and junior doctors
- Broad knowledge of assessment quality measures in medical education
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles
