About the area
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Education (PVCIE) leads UWA’s Indigenous Education Strategy across all areas of the University. It oversees the School of Indigenous Studies, the Berndt Museum, and the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, delivering multidisciplinary teaching, research, and specialised support for Indigenous students. The Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention (CBPATSISP), housed within the Poche Centre, works collaboratively with communities to promote culturally respectful, evidence-based suicide prevention practices.
About the opportunity
- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Centre Director and team.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, travel, events, and reporting across diverse locations.
- Maintain digital platforms and contribute to the Centre’s visibility and impact.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in senior administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, video conferencing, and content management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with financial systems (PeopleSoft), travel booking (Concur), and web content tools is desirable.
Note: Occasional after-hours work may be required by the successful applicant.
