- Base salary range: $80,243 – $88,940 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The People & Culture team plays a central role in helping UWA achieve its strategic and operational goals. By partnering with leaders across the University, P&C supports a high-performance culture and provides expert advice and services in recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, development, and payroll operations.
About the opportunity
- Provide frontline HR support to employees and managers, acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries via ServiceNow and phone.
- Triage, respond to, or escalate enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Guide staff and managers through P&C systems, processes, and compliance obligations, delivering operational efficiency and administrative excellence.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with staff at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of HR processes and general understanding of IR, payroll, and recruitment functions.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with HR systems (e.g. ServiceNow or other HRIS platforms) is desirable.
