  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Digital Development and Enhancement Team at UWA collaborates with academics to design and develop high-quality digital learning experiences, ensuring effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and innovative digital tools. They produce engaging multimedia content, uphold accessibility and quality standards, and provide training to enhance digital teaching capabilities. By leveraging learning analytics, feedback, and emerging trends, the team continuously improves online and digitally enhanced learning offerings, driving the University’s digital learning and teaching agenda.

About the opportunity

  • Work in a collaborative, forward-thinking team focussed on ensuring the effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and innovative digital educational tools.
  • Lead and guide the adoption of innovative digital teaching practices, contributing to strategic learning initiatives that enhance educational outcomes.
  • Leverage extensive expertise in multimedia design and video production to develop cutting-edge, engaging content that transforms digital learning experiences.
  • Support educators in developing their digital capability and literacy, empowering them to independently create and deliver high-quality, technology-enabled learning.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an educational field or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Demonstrated substantial experience in digital and online educational design (preferably in context to higher education).
  • Strong understanding of contemporary pedagogical theories and practices.
  • Experience in facilitating professional development frameworks, processes, and programs in education.
  • Extensive experience in using digital media equipment for multimedia design, development and video production.
  • Well-developed project management and organisational skills.
