About the area
Campus Management is responsible for planning, designing, and developing UWA’s campus and property portfolio. The Capital Projects team delivers key infrastructure aligned with the University’s teaching, research, and campus life priorities. Projects range in complexity and scale, requiring a flexible, solutions-focused approach, strong governance, and expert coordination across all phases—from concept through to completion.
About the opportunity
- Lead the delivery of high-value, multi-stakeholder capital projects across multiple sites, from planning and procurement to construction and close-out.
- Directly manage projects or oversee external consultants, balancing scope, budget, risk, and timelines in complex operational environments.
- Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with user needs, safety requirements, and strategic outcomes.
About you
- Degree-qualified in construction, architecture, project management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in full lifecycle delivery of complex capital works projects, ideally within regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholders, and risks while maintaining strong communication.
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and interpreting architectural and construction documentation.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic and operational advice, progress reporting, and contract oversight.
