The School of Molecular Sciences at The University of Western Australia is a hub for research and education in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and related fields. About the opportunity
- Provide plant growth, culture, and genetics services in a controlled-environment facility.
- Support research activities by maintaining equipment and supplies and ensuring compliance with the OGTR regulations.
- Assist in training users and coordinating facility bookings and operations.
About you
- Certificate in Laboratory Techniques, Horticulture, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Experience in plant growth and controlled environment facilities.
- Knowledge of OGTR regulations and experience managing compliant facilities.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Special Requirements
- Current “C” class driver’s licence.
- Occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required.
