About the opportunity
- Deliver innovative, high-quality undergraduate teaching in Archaeology, contribute to curriculum development, and supervise students at all levels while fostering graduate employability through placements and partnerships.
- Conduct and publish independent, high-impact research relevant to Australia, contribute to world-class research initiatives, and seek external research funding to build a nationally recognised research profile.
- Support the University's values and diversity initiatives, contribute to collegial and administrative responsibilities, and actively engage with schools, industry, and community stakeholders to enhance the discipline’s impact.
About you
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses in Archaeology.
- Evidence of a commitment to designing and promoting innovative use of technology in delivering teaching and assessment.
- An emerging research profile.
- Demonstrated commitment to embedding UWA’s core values of openness, honesty, tolerance, fairness and responsibility in all aspects of work.
