- Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The Classical Voice program has expanded in the last few years, with a focus on strong undergraduate fundamentals and musicianship, previously lead by Dr. Andrew Foote with Australian Soprano Dr Sara MacIiver.
About the opportunity
- Lead and grow the Classical Voice program at UWA, including curriculum design, student recruitment, and performance coordination across multiple degree offerings.
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise research students, and contribute to impactful research and publications in Classical Voice.
- Participate in university governance, oversee the performance program as a core teaching and recruitment tool, while fostering community engagement and representing UWA in professional and external partnerships.
About you
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline, and/or appropriate professional and industry experience.
- Proven professional experience in the performance of classical voice.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
- A demonstrable track record in excellence in research and creative activity evidenced by high impact activities, which may include publications and recordings.
- Demonstrable experience of participation in education/research leadership in public engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate, and Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
