- Full-time appointment on a tenurable fixed term basis for 12 months.
- Base salary range: Level A, $83,499 – $112,371 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The School of Human Sciences was formed in 2017 as an amalgamation of the School of Anatomy, Physiology & Human Biology and the School of Sports Science, Exercise and Health. The School is one of the largest in the University and makes a significant contribution to the BSc majors in Anatomy and Human Biology, Exercise and Health, Physiology, Neuroscience, Medical Sciences, and Sports Science
About the opportunity
- Research into characterising L-type calcium channel function and mitochondrial function in in vitro models and murine CRISPR mutant models
- Coordinate and conduct research experiments and activities and interpret results
- Supervise and assist staff and students in laboratory skills
 About you 
- Relevant degree and post graduate qualification in molecular science, physiology, pharmacology or biochemistry
- Experience in molecular biology and preparation of mutant constructs and transfection of constructs in culture cell lines is highly desirable
- Experience in animal physiology and biochemistry are highly desirable
