About the area

The Office of Research is in the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and provides service and support to the UWA community and its partners in their pursuit of high quality, trusted, innovative research for our community.

Teams in the Office of Research are structured to develop, enable and protect research using a model that is researcher focused and encompasses specialist knowledge, education and development, enhanced visibility, and research management processes via online systems and governance.

The Research Infrastructure & Partnerships team sits within Research Enterprise and provides business development support to ensure world class research infrastructure is available to WA researchers and industry.

About the opportunity

  • Provide project and administrative support to the Research Infrastructure and Partnerships team.
  • Coordinate internal funding schemes and support the preparation of funding proposals and business cases.
  • Develop capability statements, case studies and other communications to showcase UWA’s research strengths and investment priorities.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Demonstrated high level literacy with proven experience in gathering and interpreting information, writing reports and communicating information to a wide range of stakeholders in a variety of formats.
  • Substantial experience in providing successful service-oriented administration of funding programs or development initiatives.
  • Experience in marketing including website content development and event coordination (desirable).
  • Experience in research administration (desirable).
