About the opportunity

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching in Economics, including curriculum development and supervision of Honours, Master’s, and PhD students.
  • Produce internationally impactful research, building research networks, publishing in top‑tier journals, and pursuing competitive funding from national and international sources.
  • Contribute to leadership and service, supporting School and University governance, strategic initiatives, and external engagement with industry, government, and community partners.

About you

  • PhD in Economics or related field.
  • Publications in top-ranked international peer-reviewed economic or related field journals.
  • Undertake forefront economics research.
  • Evidence of excellent teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate units.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students' research projects.
  • Contribute collaboratively to academic governance and department administrative matters.
