This is driven by our strong partnerships with government, health care providers, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and industry focused on the common goal to meet health workforce needs and improve the health of our communities.

We are seeking a Professor of Podiatry to provide leadership and foster excellence in research, teaching, community engagement and policy development in the area of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery within the University and within the community, professional, and industry sectors. This includes providing leadership through collaboration, capacity building and advancing cross-disciplinary research and teaching activity as well as leading the strengthening and exploration of new partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence across education and research, fostering the development of colleagues in both academic and clinical settings and working to identify and deliver opportunities for engagement and collaboration within the university and beyond. The ability to contribute to research impact, program innovation, enhancing the student experience and fostering a positive, respectful and engaging culture will be critical for success. Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Podiatrist is essential.
