About the area
Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) drives the development and integration of strategic planning and performance frameworks at UWA. The division provides trusted data, insights, and reporting to inform decision-making and enhance institutional effectiveness. Within SPP, the Business Performance team plays a critical role in turning complex data into clear narratives across student, staff, finance, and research domains—empowering leaders with evidence-based intelligence.
About the opportunity
- Lead stakeholder engagement to co-design and deliver advanced reporting tools, performance dashboards, and analytical models that drive university strategy.
- Build and maintain forecasting and analytics infrastructure to support operational and strategic planning.
- Mentor team members and champion a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement across the business intelligence function.
About you
- A relevant qualification in data science, computer science, or significant experience in a senior analytics role.
- Proficiency in Python, Power BI, and Excel, with a strong track record in data modelling and visualisation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
