About the area
University IT is enabling UWA’s strategic goals through digital innovation and robust enterprise systems. The Enterprise Applications team delivers system enhancements that streamline operations, optimise student and staff experiences, and support teaching and research excellence.
About the opportunity
- Deliver detailed analysis, requirements gathering and process improvements across new and existing university-wide systems.
- Lead testing strategy and user acceptance initiatives to ensure robust implementation of technical solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical teams to embed best-practice agile and plan-driven methodologies.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading system functional analysis, business requirements analysis and process improvement and implementing testing strategies.
- Advanced written and verbal communication with the ability to translate complex needs into actionable outcomes while building strong stakeholder relationships.
- SQL writing skills and experience with relational databases and complex enterprise-wide systems.
- Experience working in large, complex environments - higher education sector knowledge and Callista Student Information System experience is desirable.
Special Requirements
- Some after-hours or weekend work may be required.
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
