About the Role

Are you a focused, organised, and efficient professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? The Customer Experience team is seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to manage and develop relationships with our larger commercial customers. In this role, you will play a key part in reducing late payments, minimising debt, and optimising cash flow to support our business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own ledger of National Accounts, overseeing the credit control process from account setup to resolution.
  • Handle debt collection and cash allocation efficiently.
  • Reduce late payments and maintain optimal cash flow into the business.
  • Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, the sales force, and internal teams to foster collaboration.

 

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience in credit control and account reconciliation.
  • Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet targets.
  • A flexible and enthusiastic approach to teamwork, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • A genuine interest in credit control and customer account management.

Hours of Work
You will work 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility required between 8:00AM and 5:30PM.
