About the role

VMCH Allied Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Physiotherapist who has a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of older adults and is passionate about providing quality, person centred care to join its supportive allied health team which also includes a Programme coordinator.

You will undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in home and community-based settings for the clients accessing our intensive Short-Term Restorative Care programme and CHSP programme making a difference to their independence and wellbeing.

The Physiotherapist will provide person centred care and the following:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) with current AHPRA registration
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the planning, implementation, delivery and evaluation of Physiotherapy programs within home and community-setting
  • Knowledge of the ageing process and understanding of various funding streams and service options for clients
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships and building rapport 
  • Self-motivated with a high level of communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Current valid Drivers license and own vehicle

Skills & experience
