About the role
Passionate and skilled Disability Support Workers required for our Supported Disability Accommodation houses located in the southeast suburbs. The DSW will provide high quality personalised active support care to our residents living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice in a residential setting.
You will be working within a friendly, passionate team to support clients and their families’ providing care and arranging outings to ensure a positive environment for all.
These positions are permanent part time, you are required to be available a minimum of 3 shifts per week including sleepover and active nights.
Shift times are -
- Mornings 6.00 – 9.00am
- Afternoons 2.00pm – 10.00pm
- Night shift sleepovers and active nights depending on the SDA
About you
You will be an experienced Disability Support Worker who enjoys working in an accommodation home supporting residents with mental health, Behaviours of concern and intellectual disability empowering them to live their best life. You will be available for a range of morning, afternoon, and sleepover night shifts weekdays and weekends.
Role requirements
- Certificate III Individual Support – Disability minimum
- Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
- Passion for providing ‘person centred active care’
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Current full Victorian Driver licence essential
- Current NDIS Check, WWC and Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate

Successful candidates will complete a 2-day training course prior to commencement as part of their professional development.
