About the role

We are dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live the lifestyle of their choosing. Our team is committed to empowering our clients through your Person-Centred Active Support practice, you'll empower them to achieve their goals and demonstrate your contemporary disability support knowledge.

These are Casual Positions working a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, weekends, sleepovers, and active nights, located in the eastern/ southeastern suburbs.

About you 

As a Disability Support Worker (DSW), you will provide personalized care and support to people with disabilities in residential, direct care and community environments. You will assist clients in achieving their goals and support them in their daily activities to achieve their goals. 

Skills and experience required

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability
  • Relevant experience in the disability sector
  • A passion for providing person-centred services.
  • Ability to perform a range of domestic duties including cleaning and shopping
  • Good knowledge of and respect for the rights and choices of clients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening check and Working with Children’s Check for employment.
  • Basic computer and administration skills
