(HEO6) $89,383 - $96,550 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full time position available until December 2025

An exciting opportunity for a driven individual to provide high-level executive support for the Faculty Executive Dean and Executive Director.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive level support to the Faculty’s Executive Dean and Executive Director with a particular expertise in managing executive enquiries and requests in a timely and appropriate manner. This position provides a high-level of administrative support for the governance structure of the Faculty, including the administrative management and preparation of papers, as well as assisting the leadership team where required.

The Executive Assistant will manage the communication with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including University leaders and government contacts and will be the first port of call in responding to enquiries and making the necessary preparations for guests and international delegations. This position will support the delivery of specific special projects throughout the year as directed by the Faculty Executive Director.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in executive support
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a confidential environment, where a high-level of professionalism is required and accurate record management is maintained
  • Ability to maintain composure during peak workflow situations when multiple tasks must be performed in rapid succession
  • Effectively anticipates needs and deals with a variety of individuals and situations
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute harmoniously to the team in a continuously changing environment
