We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition team.

This role plays a critical part in attracting, engaging, and recruiting the exceptional people who will drive our talent strategy forward. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, are customer-centric, and have deep expertise in recruitment, this is your chance to make a real impact. Our Talent Acquisition team partner with a diverse range of academic, research, and professional areas across the University. 

As aligned to the position description, you will be a proven recruitment expert who can confidently navigate complexity and deliver high-impact talent acquisition solutions. Specifically, you'll have:

  •  Significant experience in developing, implementing and solutioning the delivery of contemporary talent acquisition services and projects in a complex organisation with multiple competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in development and delivery of tailored talent acquisition strategies for individual roles and campaign level recruitment, on a national and international basis.
  • Demonstrated experience in the utilisation, cutomisation, user support and training of recruitment systems, Applicant Tracking Systems and other relevant talent acquisition tools.
  • Considerable experience establishing and maintaining key internal stakeholder relationships as a trusted Talent Acquisition Specialist in meeting current and future talent needs.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant employee relations and industrial relations legislation, as it relates to talent acquisition, and experience applying your knowledge of these in complex candidate issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret recruitment policy and procedure and provide advice to stakeholders.
  • Significant knowledge of contemporary talent acquisition metrics and reporting with demonstrated experience in applying these to inform business decisions.
  • Experience in building market knowledge of, and engaging with, recruitment/search partners, vendors and internal business stakeholders (e.g. procurement) to meet the needs of the University, along with experience in providing advice and counsel to University stakeholders relating to recommended recruitment partner solutions to best achieve their objectives.
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with and negotiation across a large complex organisation with a diverse range of stakeholders and candidates
