We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer I to support and contribute to a variety of machine learning products, prototypes, demonstrators, and libraries. The role offers rapid feedback from both the team and the client, creating a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Responsibilities may include data exploration, visualization, model training and evaluation, application development, systems monitoring, and deployment to cloud or edge platforms.

The engineer will be part of a multidisciplinary team guided by leading experts in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Human-Computer Interaction. Team leads will provide the theoretical framework, while the engineer will focus on implementing and translating that theory into functional applications.

To be successful you will need:

  1. Knowledge of commercial programming language and environment (i.e. Java, .NET, C++)
  2. Competence in a data science programming language (i.e. python, R) and toolchain (i.e. PyTorch, Tensorflow, Scikit learn, CARET)
  3. Experience translating research code into production code is a strongly desired bonus
  4. An understanding of how systems are built, orchestrated, tested, and automated
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
