Play a key role in the day-to-day management of our Study Abroad & Exchange programs and join us as our next Inbound Exchange Team Leader, in a continuing capacity. The Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) partners with students, staff and the broader community to deliver an outstanding student experience. At the heart of the student experience are transformational opportunities in learning and teaching. The Student Experience branch within DASE is responsible for providing services that deliver an excellent student experience.
Employability, Careers and Student Academic Skills deliver initiatives that enable students to succeed in their academic studies and beyond. The Study Overseas team’s focus is to increase opportunities for students to develop cultural intelligence and broaden their global perspective through outbound & inbound mobility. It coordinates international study opportunities ranging from a few weeks to full academic year for students and supports academic staff in the administration of international study tours.
Under general direction, the Inbound Exchange Team Leader will be responsible for the management of operations of Inbound Study Abroad & Exchange programs. The role will also support outbound programs. Activities include the management of day-to-day program administration, system development and management, implementation of marketing initiatives and the development of relationships with partner universities and other stakeholders. The Inbound Exchange Team Leader plays a key day-to-day leadership role in the team.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated high level organisational and administrative skills with experience in systems and process development.
- Demonstrated experience in international education program administration in the higher education sector.
- Proven interpersonal and liaison skills in building relationships with stakeholders, with a natural desire to deliver service excellence for stakeholders.
- Proven oral and written communications skills, including effective cross-cultural communication skills, and ability to produce high quality written documents and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership within a team.
