We’re building out our delivery leadership capability — and we need a Technical Delivery Lead who doesn’t just keep the wheels turning but knows how to make them run better. This is your chance to take the lead in driving delivery excellence, shaping iterative practices, and building a culture where technology truly enables business outcomes.

As our Technical Delivery Lead, you’ll be at the centre of the action: aligning priorities, balancing demand, and making sure our engineering and platform teams can focus on what they do best — delivering meaningful results.

Here’s what you’ll actually do:

  • Drive strategic, incremental value delivery that makes a difference early and often
  • Serve as the escalation point for technical delivery risks and decisions, working closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams
  • Help teams navigate demand from multiple sources, ensuring focus and flow across platforms and services
  • Make insight-driven decisions with stakeholders to prioritise enhancements, balancing immediate needs and long-term goals
  • Lead the implementation of delivery tooling that enables transparency, visibility, and accountability
  • Define and report on delivery and operational metrics, using data to fuel continuous improvement
  • Lead team planning and prioritisation activities, connecting daily work to program outcomes and broader organisational goals
  • Remove roadblocks, tackle risks head-on, and keep the focus on the outcomes that matter
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Service Owners, and external partners to drive alignment and impact

A bit about you:
You’re an experienced delivery leader with at least five years of experience leading technical delivery across cloud, platform, and engineering-focused teams. You know how to bring order to complexity and turn strategy into day-to-day progress.

There are two roles. One working with Cloud Engineering and one working with Service Operations

You’ve got a deep understanding of modern engineering practices, cloud technologies and ITIL, and you can translate delivery metrics into insights that drive predictability, quality, and team health. You’re also confident working with third-party vendors and partners to keep things on track. Working with teams to improve governance and connect deliverables across multiple divisions will be key.

You’re comfortable with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and using tools like Jira and Confluence to keep everyone on the same page. You have a knack for building strong, trusting relationships — across Digital and Technology, and with the business — because delivery is a team sport.

Your communication skills help you translate complex technical information into language that resonates with different audiences, and your leadership style is all about enabling teams to do their best work — while holding yourself and others accountable for results.
