This role leads the strategic people business partnering function for the Chief People and Strategy Officer (CPSO), with a dedicated focus on partnering with the Chief Operating and Technology Officer (COTO) and their leadership team. It plays a critical role in shaping and executing people strategies that align with business priorities, drive cultural and leadership uplift, and enable successful delivery of transformation and operational outcomes. The role also leads a team of business partners who provide strategic support to other executives, including the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and Chief People and Strategy Officer (CPSO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a proactive strategic HR partnering function that anticipates and responds to business needs, while turning strategy into practical people initiatives that uplift leadership, culture, and employee experience.
- Partner with and coach senior leaders to uplift leadership capability, support a high-performance culture, and provide strategic advice on workforce risks, people challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with People Services and People Innovation to ensure people services and programs are consistently implemented, refined through feedback, and aligned with business priorities.
- Establish strong frameworks for people policy implementation and leadership accountability, championing inclusive practices and fostering a constructive, engaging employee experience.
- Translate business strategy into actionable people initiatives and partnering priorities, actively contributing to the CPSO Group Leadership Team to facilitate successful delivery of transformation initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and BAU outcomes.
As the Head of People Partnering, you will play an instrumental role in driving our people strategy and fostering a high-performance culture. With your exceptional leadership skills, deep understanding of contemporary HR practices, and passion for creating exceptional employee experiences, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals who partner with business units to deliver outstanding people experiences and drive organisational effectiveness.
