You’ll contribute to:

  • Assisting with strategic sourcing and ongoing management of vendors and contract advice
  • Research and prepare submissions, reports, briefing materials and correspondence to provide expert analysis and advice to management and key stakeholders
  • Providing impartial and forthright advice, establish clear plans and timeframes for project implementation and lead the implementation of procurement sourcing and contract management strategies.

 

A bit about you:

  • Ability to present messages in a clear and concise manner using developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate persuasively with stakeholders
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an end-to-end procurement role, which included overseeing tender activities
  • Qualifications in a purchasing/procurement discipline is highly desirable
  • Proven organisational ability including detailed planning and ability to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines.
