The Opportunity

• Determine claims across a range of injury types, including physical and psychological injuries, varying in complexity and severity
• Deliver clear and transparent claim outcomes, including adverse decisions, by confidently explaining the rationale and ensuring customers understand the process
• Balance empathy with objectivity when delivering outcomes that may not align with a customers' expectations
• Solve problems in complex and ambiguous situations while ensuring compliance with legislation and policy
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, employers, allied health professionals and other stakeholders to progress claims and achieve timely outcomes
• Manage competing priorities and achieve performance targets without compromising quality
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate claim records to support effective claim management

About You

• A customer-focused professional with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable analysing information, identifying key facts and making sound, evidence-based decisions
• Confident communicating complex information and explaining difficult outcomes with professionalism and empathy
• Able to build effective relationships and gather information from a diverse range of stakeholders
• Resilient and composed when managing challenging conversations and emotionally charged situations
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy
