What You’ll Do as a Store General Manager
As a Store General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing store sales and providing an amazing shopping experience for our customers. Your tasks will include:
· Driving store sales by fostering a culture of commercial innovation within the team.
· Leading a team of Managers, ensuring seamless coordination, motivation, and growth opportunities.
· Developing organizational culture and promoting Primark values among the team to create an engaged community.
· Taking an active role in supporting and managing People & Culture (HR) processes together with the People & Culture Manager.
· Vigilantly monitoring and analyzing competitor activities.
· Conducting in-depth analysis of sales indicators and proposing strategies for improvement.
· Developing long-term action plans for the effective functioning of the store.
· Collaborating with external suppliers and supervising their work to ensure excellent quality of products and services.
· Actively participating in various projects related to developing the Primark brand in the local and international market.
What You’ll Bring
· At least 6 years of experience in a similar (retail industry) role in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment. Previous experience as an Area Manager or Store Manager of a large area store is preferred.
· Strong leadership skills and experience in managing, motivating, and developing team of Managers.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate, build relationships, and coach.
· A commercial mindset, independence, and strong organizational abilities to set priorities effectively.
· Highly developed analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions.
· Being proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to solve problems effectively.
· Proficiency in Arabic and English (at a communicative level).
· Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
