Our Health Business, Cleanaway Daniels, is Australia’s leading provider of medical waste services, making a safer, sustainable future possible for the healthcare sector.

As we celebrate an exciting time with positive growth and EBIT, we have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Key Account Manager to join our Health Services Business Unit.

Based at Wingfield, SA, you will ultimately work autonomously in your region and be supported by a large team of sales managers and head of sales leaders across Australia.

In this critical role, you will continue building on and maintaining strong commercial relationships with our key accounts while identifying, targeting, and acquiring new clients through delivering sales, profit and market share targets and achieving our growth ambitions. 

This is an ideal appointment for an individual who relishes working in a hybrid, well-rounded Key Account & Business Development Management role.

Responsibilities:

  • Nurture a portfolio of prominent clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty whilst identifying opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth.
  • Identifying, targeting, and acquiring new key accounts & building a pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximise revenue.
  • Monitoring market trends and competition to make data-driven recommendations and adjustments.
  • Providing regular reporting and analysis on account performance, sales, and market trends.
  • Prepare and submit tenders and quotes, manage contract renewals and negotiations with key clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare sales presentations and regular reports on account status, revenue, and growth opportunities.

 

About you:

Previous experience in the healthcare industry selling a service, experience in sales in waste management, or experience in a sale of a service role will be advantageous.

An astute level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain a proactive outlook in driving business outcomes. Maintain a proactive and engaging attitude during times of working under pressure.

Full understanding and proven ability to enhance revenue, margins, and operating profit to meet short-term and long-term goals.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Highly goal-oriented, assertive, and driven to achieve your set targets.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of programs and using CRM tools. Or technically minded and can pick things up quickly.

Valid Driver’s License (Unrestricted).

You are commercially astute and lead with Intellectual rigour and curiosity.

You have extensive experience in influencing/negotiating and are exceptional with stakeholder management, coupled with a high level of written and verbal communication.
