The Liquid Technical Services (LTS) division of Cleanaway services much more than your standard collection of household waste, it opens an abundance of opportunities. Our team supports the collection, treatment, processing, and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste, including industrial waste, grease trap waste, oily waters and used mineral and cooking oils in packaged and bulk forms.

 

Your new role

The objective of this pivotal operations planner/scheduler role is to deliver exceptional service to our customers by optimising efficiencies in driver route planning and scheduling across multiple sites. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will perform duties and be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and scheduling day to day operations of drivers runs and weekly work schedule
  • Consulting with line management in the development and management of operational targets
  • Ensuring all pre-start, post-run, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
  • Liaise with stakeholders to investigate and resolve service issues
  • Drive operational efficiencies by continually reviewing and assisting with implementation of improvements
  • Assisting in the preparation scheduling and delivery reporting
  • Lead performance management investigations and outcomes

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual to join a team who values commitment, teamwork and to contribute to the accomplishment of Cleanaway goals and KPI’s.

You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated planning/scheduling experience within the transport, logistics or waste management environment
  • Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
  • Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication written and verbal skills and the ability to remail calm under pressure
  • An eye for detail, the ability to prioritise and strong time management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously within a dynamic environment
  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience
