The Opportunity
We have a fast-paced and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team, based in Malaga, WA.
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be assigned a geographical area and will be responsible for hunting and securing new business opportunities across small to medium enterprises. You will bring a genuine passion for sales, customer engagement and the thrill of the chase. This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the waste management industry and develop your experience further.
- Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Ensure long-term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business.
- Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.
- Provide excellent customer service and build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Meet sales targets in accordance with business metrics and targets.
- Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway.
About You
You will have a passion for business development with solutions sales experience generating new business. Our sales team come from a variety of sectors, including Solar, Telecommunications, Facility Management and BD roles with other services (e.g Air Con).
- Proven experience in a structured sales or business development environment
- Previous experience in using a Customer Relationship Management tool, such as Salesforce, preferred.
- Excellent time management via your calendar to ensure you have adequate time infield and manage administration tasks.
- This is an autonomous role, so you must be a self-starter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A tenacious, resilient attitude and results-focused approach.
- Work well under pressure, hunts opportunities and drives new business.
