The Opportunity

In this key role, you will have the chance to directly contribute to the efficient conversion of organic waste into valuable resources through hands-on involvement in process and quality control, sample collection, waste audits, and data-driven improvements. As part of our team, you will not only ensure the facility operates at peak efficiency but also drive continuous improvements by analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and preparing insightful reports that shape operational strategies.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversee process and quality control measures ensuring optimal efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct sample collection and testing of materials throughout different stages of processing to monitor key performance metrics and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform waste audits to evaluate the type and quality of incoming organic waste, ensuring alignment with facility requirements and sustainability goals.
  • Manage site documentation, including maintaining accurate records of processes, quality standards, and compliance measures.
  • Produce clear and concise reports summarizing findings, analyses, and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending and implementing modifications to enhance plant efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in process and quality control, ideally within waste management, chemical manufacturing, or a related sector.
  • Strong technical writing skills for producing detailed and accurate reports.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of waste processing technologies such as composting or anaerobic digestion is a plus.
  • Familiarity with environmental and regulatory compliance related to waste management.
