The Opportunity

As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you’ll be leading both enterprise-wide improvement and strategic initiatives within our Solids Waste Services team. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Projects and Programs and working alongside a small improvement team, you’ll take on a dynamic role that includes:

• Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities using analytical insight, process and plant observations and team workshops
• Design and deliver the changes by training and guiding leaders throughout the organisation
• Monitor and adjust programs to optimise outcomes
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders from the Executive team through to the frontline
• Coordinating improvement activity across multiple projects and large number of sites at same time
• Operating across a diverse range of business activities with reach throughout Australia   

About You

If you are an experienced leader of business improvement that is dynamic, commercially astute, strategically focused, then we need you!

• Experience of shaping and leading a culture of continuous improvement
• Deep knowledge of how to diagnose, design and implement improvement programs
• Proven program leadership which includes coordinating improvement activity across multiple projects and sites
• Demonstrated experience presenting, leading and coaching to senior executives
• May have lead CI, OpEx teams within heavy industry or alternatively led operational change through management consultancy organisations
