Key Account Manager – Build Your Career in Construction and Demolition Sales

About the Role


Are you passionate about sales and business development? As a Key Account Manager – Business Development in our Construction and Demolition team, you’ll work directly with clients in the construction industry, helping them optimise their waste management solutions. This role is your chance to make an impact by driving new business, managing key relationships, and securing large-scale contracts. This is a pivotal role that focuses on onboarding high-value clients and ensuring a seamless transition to the Account Management team.

We have a variety of different Victorian Branch/office locations for you to be based at.

What You’ll Do

  • Target construction and demolition clients: Develop strategies to acquire and grow relationships with key players in the construction industry.
  • Drive new business: Cold calling, door knocking, and leveraging networks to secure high-value clients.
  • Craft winning tenders: Write and respond to tenders with clear, compelling commercial documentation.
  • Analyse and strategize: Manage pricing structures and provide data-driven insights.
  • Engage and influence: Lead presentations and negotiations to turn prospects into long-term partners.
  • Collaborate for success: Work closely with internal teams to align solutions with customer needs.
