Key Account Manager – Drive New Business in Commercial and Industrial Markets

About the Role


Do you thrive in building new business opportunities and driving growth? As a Key Account Manager – Business Development in our Commercial and Industrial (C&I) division, you’ll take ownership of securing high-value clients and spearheading their onboarding journey. This role is all about identifying potential markets, cultivating relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.

You’ll be a vital part of Cleanaway’s mission to deliver innovative waste management solutions, focusing on creating and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to our business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new opportunities: Identify and approach businesses across the C&I sector, using cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach to grow your client base.
  • Develop tailored proposals: Create comprehensive tenders and commercial documents that highlight the value Cleanaway can bring to prospective clients.
  • Manage complex negotiations: Use your communication and persuasion skills to finalize agreements and secure high-revenue contracts.
  • Focus on strategic growth: Analyze market trends and client needs to identify opportunities that align with Cleanaway’s goals.
  • Build strong partnerships: Foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and aligning their needs with our services.

 

About You


You’re a proactive, results-driven professional with a passion for business development and a knack for identifying opportunities. Your entrepreneurial mindset and determination make you an invaluable asset in creating new partnerships.

  • Sales expertise: Proven success in generating new business and managing high-value accounts, ideally within the C&I space or similar industries.
  • Tendering and proposal development: Skilled in crafting compelling commercial documents and tender responses.
  • Strategic mindset: Ability to analyse data and trends to drive decisions and maximise profitability.
  • Excellent communicator: Confident in presenting to a variety of audiences and influencing stakeholders.
  • Resilient and motivated: A self-starter who thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
