The Opportunity
Based in either of our NSW Hydrocarbon sites in Wetherill Park or Rutherford, this is an opportunity to showcase your technical skills and experience. As the Maintenance Planner, you will be accountable for scheduling and planning of maintenance activities across our nationally located fixed plant assets. You will ensure compliance, cost effectiveness, and an efficient and effective proactive maintenance plan.
Working directly with our operations teams you will also be responsible for:
- Creating and implementing proactive, preventative and corrective maintenance schedules
- Monitoring repair and maintenance tasks delegated to workshops and or contractors
- Tracking and ensuring all maintenance work is compliant and cost effective
- Contribute to maintenance budget development and cost controls including shutdown budgets
- CMMS management and the identification and implementation of operational efficiency processes
- Management and raising of work orders
- Conducting detailed risk assessments
About You
You are a self-starter who thrives within a collaborative working environment with the ability to work autonomously. Ideally, you will have an uncompromising commitment to a safety-first culture, an understanding of management change processes and prior operations experience within the refinery/heavy industry engineering sector.
Additionally, you will also possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering (electrical or mechanical) or relevant industry experience
- An understanding of SCADA/DCS and PLC control systems and instrumentation
- The ability to evaluate, select, and apply maintenance techniques and procedures
- An exposure to high pressure and temperature processes, and operations within hazardous area zone
- Experience with planned plant shutdown processes and activities
- A strong understanding of management of change process
- Effective demonstrated preventative maintenance scheduling and planning experience
