- $32.09 per hour plus super plus OT
- Monday – Friday Role (8am – 5pm) with overtime where required
- Fulltime permanent role based in Pinkenba
The Opportunity
Are you looking for a foot in the door to the recycling and sustainability industry? We are seeking to add a new Recycling Operator at our Pinkenba depot team! In this role you will be working as part of a small team to enable us to transform various waste streams into resources. This is an opportunity to make our organics plant your own by making proactive decisions and actions in order to run an efficient operation. We will show you the ropes and ensure you understand the waste streams, processing and equipment you’ll need to use (includes forklift and front end loader).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday in Pinkenba
- Forklift license
- Front end loader experience advantageous
- Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to be proactive and make decisions
Waste industry experience is not essential, however possessing a good attitude, being reliable and having a willingness to learn is. This role is hugely important to our sustainability vision and is core to our success as a business.
