The Opportunity
In this key role, you’ll ensure our financial statements are accurate and provide the insights needed for forward-thinking financial planning. With both internal and external audit support responsibilities, this role will also allow you to refine our compliance processes and uphold our financial integrity.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Responsible for month-end journal processes and reporting, corporate financial reporting, and P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain asset register and conduct asset reconciliations.
- Analyze financial performance and assist in the planning of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis, supporting corrective strategies.
- Provide financial insights to stakeholders, aiding strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial standards and drive process improvement.
About You
- CA, or CPA qualified with relevant accounting and commercial experience in a complex, multi-site industrial or waste management business.
- Solid prior experience in Financial and management accounting practices.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Experience in JDE and intermediate knowledge of MS Suite of products.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, interpreting complex data into actionable insights.
