Technical Contracts Manager - Civil Construction & Soil Importation
We are seeking an experienced Contractor Manager to oversee contract adherence and performance across key contracts related to civil construction and soil importation. You will play a pivotal role in managing contract relationships, ensuring compliance, and working closely with contractors to ensure the success of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contract relationships and compliance, ensuring contractors meet all technical specifications.
- Lead monthly compliance meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and assess contractor adherence to agreements.
- Work closely with legal teams, handle contract negotiations, and write progress reports.
- Oversee a Graduate Engineer responsible for material testing.
- Manage multiple contracts including soil importation, biogas projects, and others.
- Lead stocktaking processes across various site-based contracts.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in contract management, with a focus on civil construction, soils, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of EPA soil testing regulations (IWRG).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and ensure contractor compliance.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in sectors such as mining, civil construction, soil importation, or landfill management is highly desirable.
