Mid-Level Project Manager (Works & cost planner) Client-Side

To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain at a minimum a Baseline Security Clearance. 

 

The Opportunity

We seek a Mid-Level Project Manager (Works & cost planner) to work on our client-side Defence Estate across WA. Supported by the State Operations manager. You will coordinate service delivery planning, estimating, costing, scheduling, and coordination.

This role ensures that work requests from the client are scoped, planned, quoted, resourced, scheduled, and closed out efficiently, meeting our Commonwealth customer expectations and company standards.

The position requires strong technical, organisational, and interpersonal skills to manage multidisciplinary work, including subcontractor engagement and cross-business unit collaboration. The role involves collaborating with other depot and estate teams to forecast regional resource requirements and deliver work.

  • Coordinate all daily services to ensure services are delivered according to scheduled and contracted requirements and meet a consistently high standard.
  • Maintain resourcing schedule and provide regular reporting as required.
  • Actively contributing to creating a high-performance, values-based company culture.
  • Assist operational management in achieving service delivery through efficient resource allocation.

 

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a work planner, scheduler, or client-side project manager; working with commonwealth clients will be advantageous. 
  • Experience working with stakeholders in remote locations.
  • Proven experience planning and scheduling multidisciplinary work, including reactive and project-based tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and cross-business unit coordination. 
  • Experience with forecasting and resource allocation across a regional scope. 
  • Strong capability in managing customer relationships in a service-focused environment. 
  • Proven experience monitoring the daily progress of works to ensure they run smoothly and align within the budget and project timeline.
  • Generating Purchase Orders and Invoices as required.
